The Golden Mermaid

This piece was designed as a way for me to express my inner emotions and feelings. The mermaid represents an extremely scintillating look - she is adorned with the enriching gold where detailed and intricate-loving things surround her. However, she still has tears running down her soft, rosy cheeks. I feel myself relating to this because although a smile maybe seen on the surface, it is not always necessary that it sinks in tell the heart. This art piece is a creation depicting the contrast of positive AND negative emotions experience by our souls.
